Outside the ski season, guests come to the area to explore the flora and fauna of the mountains on the many marked hiking and biking trails. Families enjoy swimming at Lake Flumet or at the aquatic centre in Les Saisies (7km), and other activities include mountain biking, paragliding and various water sports.

Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe has everything you need for your stay: a supermarket, a grocery store, a butcher's, a bakery and a few sports equipment hire shops, including one at 300m from the chalet. There are more shops and restaurants in the popular resort of Megève, just 15km away.

About the property…

Chalet Monte Cinto is a three-storey property for up to 10 guests, with five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The entrance hall on the ground floor leads to a bright living room, where you can curl up on the sofa in front of the fire and watch TV. There's a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, microwaves and induction hob, as well as a large dining table where you can get together over a delicious meal. In good weather you could eat on the terrace while enjoying the breathtaking views. A separate toilet completes this floor.

Stairs lead to the garden level, which has two double bedrooms opening onto the terrace, and a room with two single beds. One of the double bedrooms has a TV and an en-suite shower room, while the other has a desk for remote working. The twin bedroom opens onto the garden.

This floor also has a bathroom, a separate toilet and a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The upper floor of Chalet Monte Cinto has two more bedrooms. The master suite has a double bed, a television, dressing room, desk, and an en-suite shower room. The second double bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a double sink. These two bedrooms share a balcony.

Outside, Chalet Monte Cinto has a ski room with heated boot dryers and covered parking for two cars, as well as several more parking spaces.

Sitting at the heart of the Mont-Blanc, Beaufortain and Aravis mountain ranges, the village of Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe is a real gem, allowing guests to discover the popular traditions of Savoie and the history of the Val d'Arly, as well as its culinary heritage. Many farms in the region offer tours to visitors, who can see how the delicious local cheeses are made.

At the foot of Mont Vorès, which rises to an altitude of 2,070 metres, Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe is linked to the other resorts in the Val d'Arly (Flumet/Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle, Crest-Voland/Cohennoz and Praz-sur-Arly) and the Les Saisies/Hauteluce area. This gives skiers and boarders access to the 192km of slopes and 84 ski lifts of the Espace Diamant. Free, regular shuttle buses connect the valley to the hamlets at higher altitudes, offering a variety of skiing experiences.

In summer, Lake Flumet is a popular spot for families. Go for a swim, try paddleboarding or enjoy a picnic while the children make the most of the playground and skatepark. It is also a prime starting point for exploring the Alpine countryside on foot or by bike thanks to the ski lifts, with the renowned Route des Grandes Alpes offering spectacular views.

Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe is a great year-round destination, easily accessible from Lyon and Geneva airports.
